Nothing negative at all. The room was very spacious, spotless, and nicely decorated. It appeared to be newly renovated. We had everything we needed, including refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker. We have stayed in numerous high-end motels and this Budget Inn was as nice as any we have been in. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling or staying in this area. The price can't be beat and the owners are very pleasant and accommodating. We give it a 10!

Have stayed here several times. Very clean and well maintained. Not fancy on the outside, but nice inside with nice bedding, microwave and refrigerator in rooms. Rates are very reasonable and if you join the Star Club (free and immediate) they will give you a promo code for an even lower rate. Nice, large grocery store across the street and several restaurants within a short drive. Close to the highway, but quiet. We stay on our way from Michigan to Massachusetts and New Hampshire to visit our sons. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

  • “Unassuming hotel, definite bang for your buck”

My friend & I stayed in Bath for the Wineglass Marathon. I found the Budget Inn on hotels.com, and immediately booked the room. I couldn't believe it was $70/night. The hotel is not what it seems from the outside....while it looks like a college dorm, the inside is spacious and clean. Know this is not a no-frills hotel, but the customer service could not be better! Management is wonderful and could not be sweeter. They let my friend and I come back after the race- way after the 11am check out- and let us use another room to shower without charge. The customer service far exceeded any 4-star snooty hotel. I'd stay here anytime.

At under $60 a night (Sat. & Sun.) during peak leaf-peeping season, this hotel was great, considering others were charging over $80 for less. Don't expect a free gourmet breakfast, just coffee, orange juice & packaged sweet rolls, but Room 104 was spacious, clean, had a fridge, microwave & hairdryer, and the bed was comfortable. Heater/air conditioner was quiet. Cable TV with all the channels.Short walk/drive to fast food restaurants or in to town. Ponderosa has buffet for under $10; Chat-A-Whyle restaurant in town is very good & reasonable. (Their grape pie is pretty good). Hotel is small and quiet. Probably overlooked by many.
